Parents and Friends

The Parents and Friends Association (P&F) exists to support the work of the school, and to deal with any difficulties that may arise. This extract from the Constitution explains its purpose:

  • To foster and promote close and harmonious relationships within the total school community (in order to produce caring, well-educated Catholic persons);
  • To establish, guide and monitor subcommittees to meet existing known needs, eg Finance, Religious/Pastoral/ Discipline, Curriculum/Multi-Cultural, Resources;
  • To establish, guide and monitor subcommittees to meet the perceived needs of the school community;
  • To establish guidelines and objectives for the subcommittees;
  • To develop and provide meaningful communication between parents, teachers, children and the school so that consultation is effective.

The P&F Executive Committee is responsible for organising a meeting once a term.

You are invited to be part of the P&F. Meetings are advertised in the School Newsletter. The Parent Committee Executive is elected each year at the Term 4 meeting.
