Participants will be given tools and resources needed to serve as the foundation for their work and are encouraged to work singly or in pairs on unit development. Participants will need laptop computers and access to Google docs. This course is hosted by the BRSU. For registration materials see below. |

This 3 credit graduate course will focus on building teacher pedagogical knowledge about effective instructional practices. Teachers will focus on the guided math workshop model as an effective practice for differentiating and enhancing mathematics instruction to meet the needs of all students. Teachers will examine current mathematics programs and materials for embedded effective instructional practices. Teachers will review best practices for instruction. Recommended for PreK-6 as well as Special Education. The course dates are: June 25, 26, 29, and August 10 (8:00 - 4:00), and Sept. 21, Oct. 12 (3:35 - 7:00).
