The Mathematics and Science Partnerships Grant was awarded to the Southwest Vermont Curriculum Coordinators Collaborative (SWVTCCC) starting July 1, 2009. The purpose of the grant is to offer quality Professional Development in science, technology and related fields.  
The grant is a three-year grant with the option of reauthorization. Sixty teachers were accepted into the grant program and will complete course requirements within the three-year window. In addition to the STAR Teachers other teachers are encouraged and welcomed into any of the courses, both content and pedagogical that the grant offers. As of March 1, 2011 over 200 teachers have participate in the program.
