Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology at Eastlake High School.

Welcome to Anatomy/Physiology - the study of the human body. This course provides a comprehensive study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Topics include body organization, homeostasis, histology, integumentary, digestive, reproductive, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, skeletal, muscular, nervous systems and special senses. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of principles of anatomy and physiology and their interrelationships. Laboratory work includes dissection of preserved specimens, microscopic study, physiologic experiments, computer simulations, and multimedia presentations. Projects and reading assignments may be required with each unit of instruction. This is a college preparation class that satisfies the "G" requirement for entrance into the UC and CSU university systems.
