News & Announcements

  • Hour of Code The Hour of Code takes place this week, Dec. 4 - 10. The purpose is to get every student trying at least one hour of coding - otherwise known as computer programming - and hopefully get them hooked on this fun and rewarding activity. There are activities for all ages at hourofcode.org as well as longer tutorials. "From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, every country is participating in the Hour of Code, and together we’ll pass 500 million 'hours served' to celebrate the 4th anniversary of this incredible campaign." (Hadi Partovi, Founder, code.org)

We'll also continue to update our non-fiction collection, particularly science and social studies books to complement our curriculum.   Our Scholastic Book Fair in the library has ended but you can still shop online to benefit ...
