Online Registration Information

For parents/guardians of students enrolled at Springs Valley Schools or that took part in kindergarten roundup, all of registration and fee payments (including adding money into lunch accounts) can be completed entirely online starting Monday, July 6, 2020 until August 4, 2020. These parents/guardians are not required to come to the school to complete the registration process!  Parents of new students, however, should contact the school at 812-936-9984 Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 3:00pm July 20-24, 2020 for instructions on how to enroll their child(ren) and to make an appointment.  July 20-24 registration will be available by appointment only by contacting the HS or Elementary offices during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday (July 20), Tuesday (July 21), Thursday (July 23) and Friday (July 24).  Wednesday (July 22) the offices are available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for appointments.  We are highly encouraging all parents/guardians to utilize the online registration from home.  Any families who need internet or computer access can call and make appointments with our office staff.

To register online, a primary parent/guardian must login to his/her Skyward account, click on "Online Registration," select one child at a time, and follow the steps for completing the registration process.  Below is a link to the Skyward login page.  Please note:  The "Online Registration" button is only available in the parent/guardian's Skyward account (NOT the student's account) and only for a parent/guardian in the primary family.  In divorced or separated families, one family is declared the primary family and is the only family with online registration access.  If you are unable to login to your parent/guardian Skyward account, you may contact the school office (812-936-9984) starting July 20, 2020 Monday-Friday from 8am to 3pm for assistance.

To Apply for Free or Reduced Meals, which includes free textbooks, please fill out the Application for Free and Reduced Meals during the online registration process.  This may be done anytime during the school year.  You may find that the application is unavailable for you if the student has already been directly certified electronically through the state of Indiana's Food Service Certification site.  If students received Free or Reduced benefits last school year, they will have a 30 day grace period at the beginning of this school year ending September 16 in which they will continue to receive benefits until a new application is completed or the student is directly certified through the state.

The attachment below labeled "Online Registration Quick Reference Instructions" contains a brief set of instructions explaining the online registration process.
