Sun Dot Farms Inc. is located in the San Luis Valley. It lies between the San Juan and Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Southern Colorado at an elevation of about 7600 feet.

Sun Dot Farms was established in 1992.  However, the family has always been involved in agriculture.  In fact, we proudly come from three generations of hard working farmers and ranchers.  Without them we would not be here: Herman Beiriger, Floyd Beirger, Debbie (Beiriger) Curtis, Fred Curtis, Don Curtis, and Dan Curtis.

Historically, our family has grown potatoes, barley, wheat, and alfalfa.  We have raised cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, and goats.

Currently Sun Dot Farms produces approximately 600 acres of fresh market potatoes in addition to wheat and dairy quality alfalfa. We also raise approximately 500 head of cattle and 60 goats.

We provide for our own cover crops, always mindful of our responsibility to maintain the vital nutrients needed in our land.

We diligently search for ways to improve the quality of our crops, efficiency of our business, succession of a sustainable food source, and care for our natural resources.
