Sumter Sunshine Community Foundation works closely with individuals, families, and organizations to create charitable legacies that benefit the residents of our community and strengthen our economy.

Our donors come from many backgrounds and have their own charitable interests but share a common commitment to the community they call home.

Each fund is separately accounted for and has is own name and purposes as determined by the donor who established the fund.

GIVE - Through the Community Foundation, you can direct your charitable giving to the causes that matter most to you. We’ll help you create a legacy that will make an impact—forever.

ADVICE - Professional advisors, we'll work with you to provide your clients with charitable options that fit with their philanthropic goals, strengthening our entire community as a result.

RECEIVE - The Community Foundation supports our community’s nonprofit organizations through grants and encourages our students with a range of scholarship opportunities.

LEARN - We identify shared issues and concerns within our community, we convene groups to facilitate dialogue about those issues, and—once we’ve gathered as much data as we can and listened to as many voices as possible—we propose solutions.
