SCF is 501c3 designated public charity dedicated to improving the lives of people in our region. Our mission is to brighten lives by enriching communities through philanthropy. Four factors make for a strong economy increasing the quality of life; economic vitality, environmental quality, social vitality and cultural vitality.  Funds established here positively effects these four factors to strengthen our communities and our economy.

Individuals and organizations can support designated funds for:  Veterans, Seniors, Animal Welfare, Youth, Families, Disaster Relief, Homelessness, Health, Environment, Education, Fine Arts & Humanities, Scholarships.   Establish a fund for a favorite charity; create a personal charity, give anonymously or set up a fund in the name of a loved one, your family, or a corporation.

Unrestricted funds support programs that  encourage character development, stewardship and leadership. We recognize how important character development is to our workforce and to our communities. Most economic problems are socially rooted. Direct support to SCF supports these and other programs that make a lasting impact.

Sunshine Community Foundation provides leadership on community solutions, and fosters philanthropy that connects people who care with causes that matter. The Foundation convenes citizens around critical issues, and builds the capacity for our communities.  For Good.  For Ever.  Funds are also used to nurture the early stages of new and innovative programs.

Sunshine Community Foundation works closely with individuals, families, and organizations to create charitable legacies that benefit the residents of our community and strengthen our economy.

Our donors come from many backgrounds and have their own charitable interests but share a common commitment to the community they call home.

Each fund is separately accounted for and has is own name and purposes as determined by the donor who established the fund.
