  • Golf Hosts First Meet at Home Last Friday, Pinedale hosted their first golf tournament of the spring season, a dual against Lander. Although Lander won the dual, there was still some success on the Pinedale team. Kodie Hammer and Kylie Neubauer placed in the top 5 in the girls division, and Tristan Haley won the middle school division. Coach Myszewski was excited to work hard this week in practice so that they can “dial it in a bit better” at their next meet, Friday the 25th, in Kemmerer.

  • Lady Wranglers Soccer Takes a Close Loss Tuesday night's game against Star Valley was as crazy as the weather. We had sideways snow, sun, wind, you name it. The girls played extremely well, even controlling the ball more often than Star Valley, and were in the attacking half for the majority of the game. Urie was goalkeeper for the first time in varsity. She played very well, only letting one goal in and getting 7 saves. Bailey led our attack with 7 shots, while multiple other people also got 1-2 shots. We just could not get one in. We got to the ball well in the midfield, and our defense had a stellar game as they kept Star Valley out of the danger zone, only ...

  • Roller Coaster Ride Continues for Boys’ Basketball The Wranglers went 1-1 over the weekend, February 16th and 17th. On Friday, the boys played hard, but eventually lost a close game to Mountain View, 59-50. Head Coach Oram thought that the boys competed well, rebounded well, and stayed agressive for 3 ½ quarters of basketball. However, he was disappointed that the boys made some poor in-game adjustments as well as some poor decisions to cost them a close game. On a more positive note, the Wranglers won over Lyman the next day, 76-51. According to Coach Oram, the boys played with lots of energy and momentum, especially after junior Danny Gosar dunked the ball, which is believed to be the second dunk ever in Pinedale ...

  • Wranglers Go 1-1 Over the Weekend Last weekend, February 2 and 3, boys’ basketball beat Powell boys 56-40 at home. The team played well in the Powell game and was able to cause 30 turnovers against Powell. According to Head Coach Eric Oram, the Wranglers did a good job pressing the Panthers and rebounding well. Junior Danny Gosar had a good game, scoring 22 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. On Saturday, however, the boys came up short and lost against Cody, 44-61. Coach Oram mentioned that despite Cody shooting the ball well from the outside, he was proud of how the Wranglers shut down Cody’s big players on the inside. Danny Gosar put up 15 points and had 7 rebounds, while fellow junior ...
