NHS and FBLA members, If you are interested in attending the Fall Social, please see Mrs. Bodine for a permission slip. The trip is to Shyrock's Farm Corn Maze. Money and permission slips are due on Friday, October 12.

Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by Tri-M. TODAY Sept. 24 from 3-7pm in the HS Commons. Students 16 or older need: Parent permission form from the office and photo ID needed to donate. Free T-shirts for donating. Make sure you drink plenty of WATER and limit caffeine the day before giving. Eat a good healthy breakfast and lunch on the day of the drive. 

Order a Yearbook by September 28th and receive the lowest possible price of $35 dollars.  If you order a yearbook online, you can use Josten's J-Pay, which allows you to pay in three installments, when using a credit card. You can still purchase a copy of last years yearbook, if interested, please see Mr. Russell for additional details.

Sturgeon CTA will be hosting a Trivia Night Tournament on Sept. 29th. Anyone is welcome to put together a team, including students and student groups. Please check the details and registration form on the Sturgeon web page or Facebook page. 

IMPORTANT please listen carefully. On picture day students need to stay at the HS--do not go to A+, or leave for Tech until ALL  photos are completed. Photos may continue after lunch if necessary. 
Seniors, since there are so many of you; pictures will start @ 7:30 a.m. Girls will go first, then the guys. After regular photos are taken it takes 90 minutes for them to set the cameras up for sports photos
The Senior Athletes Banner photo will also be taken that day, next Friday, September 28th. This includes ALL Sports for Seniors!  Track, Golf, Baseball, Softball, Cheer and Basketball. Bring your uniforms for each sport you are in and any props you want for the photo.
They will also be taking Fall Sports teams; These will be group and individual shots. Coach Hicks has already passed out order envelopes for the sports photos. This includes the following TEAMS:  Baseball, Cheerleaders, Softball, Golf.
Senior Sports Group photo and Senior Individual sport banner photo order forms are in the HS Office. 
We will pass out regular photo order forms to everyone at lunch today.

The registration deadline for the October 27th ACT is September 28th. 

Congratulations to October Haas for being accepted to Moberly Area Community College.  Way to go October!

Seniors, Financial Aid Night will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6 to 7pm in the HS Commons.  Please make plans to be there with your parents.

Seniors, we will be meeting in small groups during 3rd hour this week to complete your FSA ID.  This is the first step of the FAFSA process.  We will meet in the business room during 3rd hour on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  You will have an email sent to your school email address that will have instructions for this activity.  Please make sure you follow those instructions. 

Any senior who wants to attend the Mid-Missouri College/Career Fair on Wednesday needs to turn in the permission slip AND register online.  Please see Mr. Boyer if you have not registered online.  I will be calling down students who have not registered online during seminar today.

Attention A+ Tutors, your September tutoring logs need to be turned in by Friday, October 5, 2018!
