Enrollment and Registration 2018 - 2019

Franklin Area School District is currently registering students for the 2018-2019 school year at the district office located at 40 Knights Way in Franklin.

Registration should be completed prior to August 22, 2018 to begin school on the first day.

Registration appointments are required.  Please call Chris Romanowski at 814-432-2121 x 1101 to schedule your appointment.  You may also email reg@fasd.k12.pa.us to request an appointment.

Click here for a copy of the REGISTRATION PACKET.  You are welcome to print the packet and complete it prior to your registration appointment.  If you do not complete in advance, you will complete the paperwork during your registration appointment.

The following items are required for student registration:

1.     Proof of student’s age (birth certificate)

2.     Current immunization record (Click here to see PA immunization regulations)

3.     Proof of residency (driver’s license, passport, utility bill, deed, lease, etc.)

4.     If applicable, an official transcript of student’s grades

5.     If applicable, custody paperwork

Additional Information:

To be eligible for entrance to Kindergarten, the child must be five (5) years of age before September 1, 2018. 

Students are assigned bussing based upon their home address.  Any modifications to that transportation for all new and returning students must go through the Transportation Director, Kevin Close.  He can be reached at 814-432-2121 X 1105 or via email at closek@fasd.k12.pa.us.
