Issues with installing Android Studio IDE on Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit

Needed to support 32-bit apps on a 64-bit enviornment and OpenJDK7+ or Oracle JDK:
sudo apt-get install lib32ncurses5-dev lib32stdc++6 default-jdk

Download from official site 
Unzip <filename>
cd /android-studio/bin
./studio.sh
DO NOT RUN ./studio.sh AS SUDO!  Causes file permission issues.

Install will create shortcut on desktop.

Optional (adding /android-studio/bin "ide" and/or /Users/<user>/Library/Android/sdk/ "Android SDK tools" to your PATH)
