Summer Band Details
(Current 6-8 Grade Students)
The 2024 Summer Band and Lesson program will begin on Monday, June 10 and continue through Thursday, June 27, with the Ice Cream Social Concert on the evening of June 27. Students have the opportunity to participate in the band ensemble, lessons, or both. To guarantee acceptance, please register by May 28!
6th Grade Band (current 6th grade band students): practices at 9:00-9:45 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the PV High School Band room. Cost is $35.
7th/8th Grade Band (current 7th & 8th grade band students): practices at 10:00-10:45 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the PV High School Band room. Cost is $35.
Lessons: One 15-minute individual lesson per week (total of 3 lessons) will be available. Families have their choice of in-person lessons (held at Pleasant Valley High School) or online lessons. All lessons will be scheduled (if possible) between 8:00am-12:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Cost is $35 for all 3 lessons. A lesson schedule will be distributed prior to the end of the year.
