The Spartans just concluded a great first season under the guidance of Coach Ben Uker. In addition to breaking the 20-win plateau with a 20-8 dual record, the Spartans finished 3rd at the MAC, 2nd at Districts behind the state champions from Bettendorf, and 7th at the state meet, which all proved to be the highest finishes the team has seen in nearly a decade! The Spartans also brought home 4 state medals, highlighted by Tyler Willers 2nd state title at 120 lbs! Travis Willers (2nd @ 106), Brady Letney (3rd @ 160) and Jake Melik (6th @ 220) also brought home hardware from Des Moines. Outstanding work all the way around!
