My name is Lisa Oliphant and this will be my first year teaching at Liberty Public Schools. I graduated college in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education with an Accelerated Masters in Autism Spectrum Disorders. The accelerated masters program allowed me to graduate with 12 credit hours towards my masters. I am currently finishing up my masters degree through an online program at Mizzou.
I went to Excelsior Springs high school where I participated in many clubs and sports such as Track & Field, Volleyball, and Choir. I married my high school sweetheart in May of 2015 and we have two pets, Jax (Terrier mix) and Stella (cat). We enjoy mountain biking, watching movies, spending time with our 9 nephews (3 pictured), and camping.
I am very excited to be teaching special education this year. My office is in room 904, I do not have a formal classroom as I travel to different classrooms each hour of the day. I look forward to meeting all of my parents and students and am looking forward to a great school year.
