A Little About Me
Welcome to EPiC. My name is Glenda Monachino. I grew up in Tipton, Missouri, a small town near the Lake of the Ozarks. My parents, sister, nieces and great nieces, still reside in the area, and I am always excited to visit. This is my 29th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade and Reading Recovery. I have also been a literacy coach and an assistant principal for Columbia Public Schools.
I have a Masters Degree in Education from Lindenwood University.
My husband, Ono is the Director of Transportation for Liberty Public Schools. We live in Plattsburg and we enjoy gardening, swimming, and playing golf. Although we were not blessed with children of our own I feel honored and privileged to be one small footprint in your child’s life.
Looking forward to a great school year!
A Little About Me
Hi! My name is Mrs. Marde Mason and I am one of the kindergarten teachers at Epic. I have been teaching kindergarten for over 20 years. I began teaching in Liberty in 2005 at Liberty Oaks Elementary and moved to Kellybrook Elementary when it opened in 2009. Prior to teaching in Liberty, I spent over a decade teaching in the Raytown School District
I grew up in Chillicothe, MO. in a very large family. I have four sisters and four brothers! After graduating from Chillicothe High School, I attended William Jewell College and graduated with degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I also have a Masters of Education from Webster University.
I live in the Liberty School District with my husband, two daughters, and two sons. Our family spends most of its free time coaching and/or participating in youth sports activities. When we have breaks from school and sports we like to spend special time together at the beach each year.
Welcome to Kindergarten at Epic!
