In addition to the graduation requirements, Henley High School requires successful completion of the Senior Capstone. Activities and assignments comprising this extended application are accomplished during the student’s senior year, as well as compilation of a Personal Education Plan which begins with freshman year. To graduate from Henley High School, students must be enrolled in and pass Senior Seminar and successfully complete the Senior Capstone. To pass the Capstone, students must earn a C or better on their community service, their paper, and their oral presentation. Students who do not meet these standards will be referred to make up the deficient credit after graduation has taken place.
All students have Oregon CIS (Oregon Career Information System) accounts used to research post secondary options - colleges, careers, and military. Remember that you may log into CIS anywhere you have internet access to take interest inventories and save occupations or colleges that interest you. Anything you save to your portfolio and add to your Personal Education Plan (PEP) will be available for you to use in Senior Seminar and the Senior Capstone.
