Worship at St. Thomas is at the center of our life together. As we hear and ponder God’s word, lift up our hearts to God in song, offer our concerns to God in prayer, and gather with Jesus around his table, we are drawn closer to one another in fellowship through the power of Christ’s Spirit. In midst of our busy lives, our time to give thanks for God’s blessings is a spring of comfort and refreshment that empowers us in our ministry in the world.

Our Sunday mornings are structured by the celebration of the Eucharist at 8:00 and 10:00 AM. Our 8:00 AM service is a contemplative Eucharist with healing. Our contemplation at this service is nurtured by simple a capella singing and instrumental music. Prayers for healing are offered after the reception of the Eucharist. Our 10:00 AM service is marked by the beauty of our music, led by our choir, and our inclusion of our children. For this service, an intergenerational mix of our congregation gathers to share with one another life in God’s presence. Our children’s Christian Education program takes place during the first half of this service. We also gather for a service at 5:00 PM on Saturdays. This service is quiet and contemplative. It is a spoken service with no music, and the congregation gathered at this time is smaller, allowing for an experience that is more intimate.  Sermons are, of course, offered at all of our services.

At St. Thomas, four or five times a year, we baptize children and adults who would like to join Christ’s catholic church.  Our community takes seriously its commitment to support any who wish to join with us on our journey in Christ’s footsteps. We are overjoyed to baptize any who commit themselves to this journey with us.

Our liturgy of thanksgiving every Sunday is truly an offering of the whole of our community. Our worship is only possible through the contributions an many in our congregation through a variety of ministries. If you would like to become involved in any of the ministries listed below, please contact the chairs of the various ministries or be in touch with our church office.
