United State Conference of Catholic Bishops - Always Our Children
"Every person has an inherent dignity because he or she is created in God's image.  A deep respect for the total person leads the Church to hold and teach that sexuality is a gift from God.  Being created a male or female person is an essential part of the divine plan, for it is their sexuality - a mysterious blend of spirit and body - that allow human being to share in God's own creative love and life."

San Francisco State University - Family Acceptance Project
"When we hold our baby in the nursery for the first time, no one tells us that our baby might be gay.  By the time we know who our children are, we may have hurt them in many ways.  No one teaches us how to help and protect our gay or transgender children.  We may think we can help by trying to change them - but we need to love them for who they are."
Erica, mother of a 14-year-of a transgender youth.
From a pamphlet entitled "Supportive Families, Healthy children - Helping families with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender children"

Everyone's story needs to be nurtured by prayer and the Gospel!
