  • Youth for Human Rights International

The purpose of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) is to teach youth about human rights, specifically the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and inspire them to become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace. 

YHRI is a non-profit corporation based in Los Angeles with groups, clubs and chapters in over 70 countries around the world.  View examples of the human rights education materials at www.youthforhumanrights.org
 
Saving Lives through Alternative Options provides provides humanitarian supportive service for victims of conflicts and natural disasters. SLAO also provides capacity building and technical assistance programs aimed at reducing health disparities in minority and low income communities in the US and Sub Saharan Africa.

The Frederick Douglass
Family Foundation
is an Abolitionist organization. It exists to  serve two purposes: to preserve and honor the legacy of Frederick Douglass and to create awareness about modern-day slavery in an effort to expedite its demise.

"We know that slavery exists today in various forms throughout the world. It’s estimated that 27 million people live in a state of servitude.
