With 18 years of ballooning experience, including major contributions to Google's Project Loon and launching innovative balloon climate startups in Silicon Valley, my expertise lies in advanced balloon technology.Â
My objective is to guide you in leveraging state-of-the-art balloon systems, underpinned by extensive knowledge in science, engineering, and practical application. My role encompasses consulting, project management, and technical leadership, aiming to optimize the real-world effectiveness of balloon applications.

Why balloons?
Cold, Low Pressure Environment: similar to space, -40C to -90C, ambient air pressure 300 kPa to 1 kPa
Very good Line-of-sight: for example, at 125,000 ft (38km) simple line-of-sight distance is 500 miles
Stable platform: When at constant altitude a balloon has extremely low vibration and minimal motion.
Clear air: Above most of the atmosphere, there is little to no atmospheric distortion for astronomical observations
Long flight time: Flight durations can be optimized from hours to years in-flight
Cheaper: Balloons and balloon fleets are often less expensive to build and operate than aircraft or satellites.
