Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Hark! The herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King:
Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!
Joyful, all ye nations rise, Join the triumph of the skies;
With the angelic host proclaim, "Christ is born in Bethlehem!"
Hark! The herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King!"

From Heaven Above to Earth I Come
From heaven above to earth I come
To bear good news to every home;
Glad tidings of great joy I bring,
Where of I now will say and sing

Valley Day

Valleys Day is our off campus field trip about life on the prairie.  We read Little House on the Prairie, and we also learn about life on the prairie.  I need lots of adult volunteers for this, because the centers are run by parents, grandparents, friends, aunts, uncles.  The volunteers have to go to the training on Saturday, March 30th so they can learn how their center works.  It's from 9-10:30 ish in the morning.  Then Valley Day is Thursday, May 16th 8:30-2:15.  I'll have sign-ups starting in February, but if you want to commit now, you will get first pick of your center.  I'll also need help gathering supplies, so adults who are unable to be there on the actually day I can have you help me gather some supplies and prep for the centers.  Thanks in advance.

South Korean Exchange Student Program

Ms. Wilke still needs host families.  Thank you to you who already have!  I am possibly hosting their chaperone teacher for the three weeks.

    The faculty and staff of St. Peter are excited to announce our participation in the South Korean Exchange Student Program! Our school will host students from South Korea for three weeks in January. We're currently looking for host families for these students. By hosting, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about South Korea and help your own children become more culturally knowledgeable. Requirements for hosting include taking your South Korean student to church each week, feeding them breakfast and supper, giving them a bed to sleep in (they don’t need their own room), and providing for their general safety and welfare, much like you do your own child! There is a small stipend available for host families. If you cannot host, but would like to be involved with the program, we have a place for you! If you would like more information, please contact Ms. Wilke at jwilke@stpeterlodi.com.
