Welcome to St. Peter Interparish Catholic School.
St. Peter Interparish School is located across from Missouri's State Capitol. We are located at the corner of Broadway and High Street. Our original building was constructed in 1888-1890. Our last addition was completed in January of 2007.
St. Peter Interparish School consists of a Preschool and grades K-8. Our school has been recognized by the 'National Catholic Education Association'. In 2012-2013 our Home and School Association received the 'Distinguished Home and School Award'. Laura Dampf, our second grade teacher was also honored with the 'National Catholic Education Association Distinguished Teacher Award'. Our first grade teacher Agnes Forck received this same award in 2010.
Our school has also been recognized by the Today's Catholic Teacher magazine. The school received the 'Innovations in Catholic Education Award for Curriculum and Instruction'.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lesha Neidert, who will receive the 2019 Lead, Learn, Proclaim Award from the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) for dedication and commitment to excellence. Lesha was chosen from more than 150,000 educations serving in the nation's Catholic elementary and secondary schools. Lesha will be recognized during the annual NCEA Convention & Expo on April 23, in Chicago, Illinois. During her tenure at St. Peter Interparish School, Mrs. Neidert has experienced the importance of faith in education. "We understand that if you're not faith-driven, you're not putting your students first," she said. "I think St. Peter does a great job of putting faith first, students first, families first."
Congratulations to Ms. Rose Thoenen who received the 2018 Lead, Learn, Proclaim Award from the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) for dedication and commitment to excellence. Rose was chosen from more than 150,000 teachers and administrators, as well as diocesan leaders and organizations dedicated to the nation's Catholic schools. Rose was recognized during the annual NCEA Convention & Expo on April 3rd., in Cincinnati , Ohio. The annual award honors those whose ministry is Catholic school education and who have demonstrated a strong Catholic educational philosophy as well as exceptional ability, dedication and results.
In the 2015-2016 school year Mrs. Sherri Kincaid received the 'Grand Great Idea' award during the Innovations in Catholic Education awards at San Diego NCEA Convention. Mrs. Kincaid's Great Idea was called "The Awesome Race" held during Catholic Schools Week. Mrs. Donna Stuckenschneider received the 2016 NCEA Lead, Learn, Proclaim Award during the NCEA Convention at San Diego. She is one of 21 awardees across the nation. Congratulations to Mrs. Val Jones who attended the Rudin Bearing Witness Advanced Program to Israel. Congratulations to Gerard Rockers who received the 101.5 KPLA's Apples for Teachers award on April 14th.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lesha Neidert, 2nd Grade teacher at St. Peter Interparish School for being selected as the Golden Apple Teacher in the 101.5 Apples for Teacher Awards. She was nominated by a former student. Mrs. Neidert was selected from hundreds of nominations, and was selected from the top ten as the winner of the Golden Apple. She won $250 from Central Bank, $150 gift certificate from Eyes on Missouri, and $125 gift from Brain Balance and $25 from KPLA. Thank you for all you do for your students.
