    TURN TRASH INTO CASH

Drop off your aluminum cans for St. Peter Interparish School on the second Thursday of each month on the big flat from 7:15-8:00 a.m.

For those of you who are new to St. Peter School, this is a great way to turn your trash into cash to help support the special projects for our children.  It also gets everyone involved in giving back to our environment.  It's simple.  Just bring your bagged aluminum cans with you to the big lot and volunteers will be set-up there for your convenience.  After dropping off your children, please pull forward with your hazard lights on and we'll come and take your cans from there.

Genuine thanks to those who continue to participate in this effort.  This is not only a good fundraiser for St. Peter Interparish School, but it is also an excellent way to provide awareness of the importance and benefits of recycling.  Every little bit helps!  Fact:  Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a TV for three hours!

To date we have collected 6,113.75 lbs. of cans for a dollar amount of $3381.50.  That's over 3 tons of trash no filling up the landfills!
