Congratulations to Mrs. Val Jones who has been selected to attend the Rudin Bearing Witness Advanced Program to Israel. This is a unique professional development opportunity for Catholic school educators from across the United States. This extension of Bearing Witness allows educators the opportunity to visit Israel and deepen their understanding of the Jewish and Christian connection to Israel, modern Israeli politics, anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Participants meet with scholars, journalists, policy makers and faith leaders, and are afforded the chance to visit sites scared to Jews and Christians.
Congratulations to Gerard Rockers who will receive the 101.5 KPLA's Apples for Teachers award on April 14th.
