A New and Exciting Project of the Lutheran Church in New England
Our ELCA World Hunger emphasis in New England this year is supporting projects in Rwanda and Malawi! We'll help provide vulnerable, unemployed Rwandan youth with training in welding, tailoring and entrepreneurship.
Thanks to funding of equipment, tools and training materials, students will have a sustainable future. We, New England Lutherans, can help provide the needed $7,000 for this project!
Congregational donations will be matched up to $100 when contributed to this fund. Church or individual checks may be written to the New England Synod and in the memo line please add: " WH Rwanda & Malawi 2021." Checks may be mailed to: New England Synod, PO Box 13, Worcester, MA 01614. Or to give online, go to www.nelutherans.org/donate and indicate in the special instructions line: "WH Rwanda & Malawi."

Follow this link to Opportunities for Communities to contribute and learn more about how you can help. Hurricane Matthew tore the roof off the school.
Tanzania Program
Each year the church gifts our sister church with money for projects. In the past we have purchased a motor cycle for the pastor, help with building materials for the educational wing of the church, paid for electrical hook-up, and purchased ceiling fans for the church.
