JOIN US for the September 26th DC Stop Child Trafficking Now Walk!  This walk will rally support, raise awareness, and raise funds to stop child trafficking both around the world and in the DC Area.

This event will be the first anti-trafficking walk and the largest anti-human trafficking event in D.C. history.  It will coincide with September "Combating Human Trafficking Month" and will be part of a larger national effort that includes walks in other cities such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas.   In addition, this event will bring together the DC community, NGO's, local authorities and the media in combating modern slavery here in DC.

When: Saturday, September 26, 2009.
 Registration opens at 9:00 am
 Walk begins at  9:30 am

This walk is organized entirely by volunteers who are members of DC Stop Modern Slavery, an all-volunteer Washington D.C. community group.

  • Registration through the website has officially closed.  We will take walk-in registrations at the walk.  So if you haven't signed up but still will wish to walk, please come to the Meridian Hill Park (Corner of 16th Street NW and W Street NW) between 9:00-10:30 AM and we will register you there.
