1. Synthesis of MOx/CeO2-based catalysts (M=transition metal) and Boron Nitride Nanotube (BNNT) supported catalysts
Methods: Incipient Impregnation, Sonication, One Pot-Chemical Vapor Deposition (OP-CVD)
2. Ex-situ/In-situ characterization for (1) MOx/CeO2-based catalysts (2) MOx/zeolite (3) h-BN and BNNT supported catalysts (4) water, saline water, and silica-water materials
Characterization: Raman, DRIFT, XRD, SEM, TEM, N2-ads-des, TGA
3. Fundamental studies and Applications of fabric materials (cotton, poly-cotton, polyester)
Decomposition and Deweaving, Metal on fabric, Dye chemical decomposition
Opening positions for Master & Ph.D candidate.
