Update 21 - 13 December, 2018

Dear Parents and Whanau,

Thank you for a wonderful school year, it sure has been packed with many memorable events! Looking back over some of those we know will fill our learners with memories, from the year 1 and 2 school sleepover to the introduction of our new school values, junior duathlon, cross country, netball, basketball, kapa haka, the art exhibition, film festival and camps to name just a few! And we absolutely ended on a high note with the Learning Achievement Celebration on Tuesday, 2018 will be hard to beat!  We are certainly proud to reflect on what has been an awesome year!

2019 is set to bring many exciting new beginnings including the start of stage 3 and 4 building which we will keep you updated with as we progress.

There is definitely a Christmas buzz around the school this week, and we know our learners are looking forward to a well-deserved rest. We enjoyed seeing the excitement build as they visited their new hubs last Friday and it is great to see them already making connections with friends and their new environment.

Best wishes to our year 8 learners who are off to college, we will miss you greatly - please come back and visit. To our new 2019 learners and their families, we look forward to getting to know you and wish your children every success in their transition to Stonefields School life.

Have a safe and happy summer holiday everyone, until next year, wishing you love, laughter and learning!
