I have a master's degree in Education. My educational philosophy is  I believe that children learn best by doing.  Hands-on instruction provides children with the concreteness to develop mathematical and scientific concepts.

I am married with 2 children and 2 dogs. My family and I are avid conservationists and backpackers.  During the summers, we usually enjoy backpacking in  our nation's true treasure, our national parks.

Reading homework will begin the week of  September 10, 2018.  Please have your child read aloud for at least ten minutes and read silently for ten minutes each school night.  Please ask your child questions about the text after she/he finishes.
