First Grade Teachers

Welcome to first grade! My name is Julie Domzalski and I have been a first grade teacher for 27 years. I obtained a B.A. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Psychology from Bellarmine College. I obtained a M.A. in School Guidance from Spalding University. I enjoy teaching the youth of today. They have an enthusiasm for learning and a wonderful insight into their faith. It is important for me to help these children grow intellectually, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically. I enjoy working at St. Margaret Mary School. It is a collaborative effort with the administration, faculty, parents, and students to help each student become successful in our nurturing, Catholic environment.

Hello!  My name is Tina Chaput.  I am a

first grade teacher at St. Margaret Mary. I

was a Kindergarten teacher here for 10

years.  This is my 11th year in first grade.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in

Elementary Education from Marshall

University in Huntington, W.V. I also

attended Butler University in Indianapolis,

Indiana where I completed my Masters of

Science degree in Early Childhood. My

philosophy and goals for my students are: to

build self- confident individuals;  to enrich

the spiritual soul of each child; to laugh and

smile each day; to make school a wonderful

place to be!
