Welcome to Mrs. Hoerner's website!

Dear Parents and Students,

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! This is an exciting week with the graduation breakfast on Wednesday morning. Seventh graders will dress in their Sunday best and join the eighth graders for breakfast. They are allowed to stay in their nice clothes all day since we will miss P.E. It is a nice morning, and they will get a preview of what to expect next year.

The athletic banquet is tomorrow evening at 6 pm. 7th/8th graders are supposed to bring a dessert. Speaking of athletics, congratulations to Catherine Clavey for setting a school record in the shot put on Saturday! She placed 7th at State.

I want to thank everyone for my bucket of snacks on Monday for Teacher Appreciation Day. I didn't even know it was that day, so I was very surprised! Our field trip was absolutely terrific and the students were very respectful the entire day. In spite of the air conditioning failure at the very end, it was a great trip!

We are winding down the year, and our vocabulary book is completed. No more homework in vocab!

Homework

Religion: Pastor Words Test on Wednesday - study the entire set on Quizlet.com - Test on Commandments (chapters - 13,15,16) on Friday

English: "Words of Wisdom" assignment due Thursday

Have a great week!

Mrs. Hoerner
