Laura has been a member of the Saint Mary Women’s Club for over 10 years. She has been a vital member of the Saint Mary Women’s Club serving as a member of the Executive Team as the President from 2007 – 2009 and First Vice-President. While serving as Market Day Chairwoman, sales soared and she received an Outstanding Service Award. Through her efforts, more senior members of the Women’s Club became involved. She served as the chairperson for the 2011 Breakfast in Bethlehem and organized the first “Jingle Jubilee” originally called “Jungle Jubilee” fund raiser for Saint Mary School. As a teacher at Saint Mary School, she is admired by both staff and parents. The young children she instructs love being around “Mrs. Georgen”. Laura seeks out and welcomes new members of the Parish inviting them to become involved in the many activities of the Saint Mary Women’s Club and the Church. She is always positive and speaks kindly of others. Her glass is always “half full”.
