Welcome to First Grade.  This website will let you know about everything happening in 1st grade this year!  Check back often.
Announcements:

  • If you are available to help with  lunch please click on the link.  Thank you so much for helping!

  • In order to volunteer in the school, you must be virtus trained.  Please contact Mrs. Tomassetti in the main office with any questions.
  • Under the current spelling list in the Spelling Words section is a link to the current sight words/high frequency words we have learned so far.  I have also included a link with an alphabetical list of all of the sight words/high frequency words we will be studying in 1st grade.  If you want to review or study ahead the words are available for you to print.
  • I have included a link to information about nut free snacks that are safe for the students who have nut allergies.  It is in the same section as the Parent Packet.  Please refer to it when selecting treats to send into the classroom.
  • We will be using the 100's number chart to help us with our counting by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's.  We will also be using it to help with addition and subtraction.  Please print out the 100's chart to help your child to complete their homework at home.  There will be some homework assignments that your child may need the chart for.
