Although some two miles outside the village, the Church has strong links with the community of Wellow.  There is a Community Working Group led by the Community Co-ordinator Jane Stephens.

It organises annual events such as Summer and Christmas Fetes, a Harvest Supper, and an annual spring lecture - all of which are well attended by congregation and the wider community alike.

There is no secondary school in the Parish, but the Vicar has regular invitations to Wellow Primary School and there are also good links to the neighbouring Hampshire Collegiate School (situated at Embley Park, the former home of Florence Nightingale).  The Primary School holds its Christmas Carol Service at the Church.  There are also links to Scouts, Guides and other such groups.

There are 2 residential homes for elderly people in the Parish and the Vicar has regularly held services at Dunwood Manor and at Kingsmead which is a development of private apartments for the over 50’s.

The Church plans to start providing an introductory pack for newcomers to the village.
