Welcome to the Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch, East with West Wellow.
Established in 1215, the year of the signing of Magna Carta, St Margaret's has been a place of worship and pilgrimage for over 800 years.  A Grade 1 listed building with highly distinctive decoration - and the burial place of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing - the Church receives many visitors every year.

It is also, however, home to a lively congregation, of all ages, and is an active participant in its community of Wellow in rural Hampshire.

We hope you find the site useful.  Down the left hand side you will find links to information about the Church and its congregation.  In the tabs at the top of the site you will find information about services, contacts and other administrative information, together with recent postings of news.

For information about Florence Nightingale and our education outreach on her life and work, please see the Nightingale link to the left.

St Margaret's is part of a United Benefice with Sherfield English - a link to our sister church of St Leonard's is here

If you have queries or would like further information - including on baptisms, weddings and funerals - please go to the Contacts tab above.  If in doubt, please contact the Vicar .
