We would like to install a new playground surface at our school. Based on research, parent feedback, professional recommendations, and total cost, our goal is to remove all the pea gravel and replace it with new rubber mulch in the next two years (or as soon as possible). To date, the Playground Project Fund has raised $7,429 of the total $34,000 needed. If you are able to donate to the SKD Playground Fund, we would greatly appreciate it. If you have any questions, please contact Sandy in the School Office at 275-6994 or

This week on Wednesday, we will begin a series of adult formation classes while children are at their Religious Education classes. We will begin with two sessions, one at 5:30 p.m. and another at 6:45 p.m. Some people have indicated an interest in each time, so we will measure the level of interest as we move along.

These classes are open to all parish members and we hope that they will attract a cross-section of participants. We will weigh content options according to interests that are expressed. The classes will meet in the Gathering Space.

R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
