his is my fifth year teaching, and I am so excited to have another great year! This will be my third year in 1st grade, and I am so excited to begin a great year. I have learned so much over the past year and I am blessed with such a wonderful school community to help me continue my growth. I am a product of the Oakland Diocese, and I continued my education and graduated from California State University Northridge, and received my B.A. in Media Management. I also received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Chapman University.

Every Writing workshop session begins with a mini-lesson about a skill and ends with student reflection and time to share. Students are introduced new skills during mini-lessons each day that help them to become better writers.
