Using Free Conference Call

Students may sign up and use the Free Conference Calling service at:  
to host meetings and allow for remote students to take part in meetings.

This is particularly useful for club leaders and others who may need to host meetings frequently.

* This is an external service, not affiliated with NYU Stern.
* Stern IT will not be able to assist you with account related issues to this site.

To access Free Conference Call services you need to create a free account.

Create a free account. 

Enter your email address and create a password, then click Sign Up button to create your account.
* Note: you do not have to use your Stern email account.

Once your account is created you will be provided with your personal conference number, access code and PIN number.  You will also see the option to schedule a conference call and invite other participants. 

Once you click to send invites, your invited members will receive an email with instructions on how to dial in to your meeting.  The instructions will include phone number and access code.  

As a meeting host, you will receive an email with details about your meeting, including the numbers of participants after the meeting ends. 

Option to join via computer

The Free Conference Call service offers the option to host or join a meeting via computer.  Meeting guests may opt to join via computer.  To join, they need to click the Online Meeting Link provided in the emailed invitation.  They may be prompted to install a browser plug-on on their computer.

Important: When joining an online meeting via computer use headphones to minimize echoing and feedback.
