fr. Benjamin Earl OP, MA, MSc (Oxon), JCL (PUST)
fr. Ben is the Parish Priest of St Cuthbert's and Catholic Chaplain to Durham University. Before entering the Dominican Order in 1997, fr. Ben studied Mathematics, but has since branched out into Canon Law via Philosophy and Theology. As well as his duties in Durham he is Convenor of the Liturgy Commission of the English Dominican friars and a member of the Provincial Economic Council. He also serves as a Judge on the Diocesan Tribunal for the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.

fr. Anthony Rattigan OP
From August 2015, fr. Tony is the Catholic Chaplain to our local prison. He has previously worked in prisons both in the North East and Leicester, and has served as Prior and Parish Priest in the Dominican Priories in Leicester and in London.


fr. John Farrell OP

fr. David Goodill OP, MA (Cantab), MPhil (Mancun), STL (Leuven)
fr. David comes to Durham having served as Vice-Regent of Blackfriars, Oxford. He studied Philosophy in Cambridge and Manchester before entering the Dominican Order, and now maintains interests in Moral Philosophy and Moral Theology. While in Durham, fr. David will be working towards his doctorate at Fribourg (Switzerland). He is a passionate supporter of Manchester City!
