Farewell Fr. Andrew
On Saturday, June 25, 2016, the Church and community of St. Clare celebrated a beautiful farewell mass for a beloved priest, mentor and friend: Fr. Andrew Awotwe-Mensah.
Father is leaving St. Clare to pursue his doctorate in Sociology at Iowa State University, where he will also help out in a parish in the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Since his departure was announced, it was clear that this community will miss Father Andrew dearly. In addition to his priestly ministry, Father has faithfully led our Church Charismatic movement and our Altar Servers. We thank God for Fr. Andrew and we know he will faithfully continue the work of the kingdom where he is going.
Below are the pictures of our Altar Servers whom Father has led and now Fr. Christian will continue to lead. Thank you all for coming and thank you all for your service.
We love you Fr. Andrew and we will miss you dearly.
God is Good, All the Time;
and All the Time, God is Good!!!!
