Research Paper

We have decided to change the order of the course so that we work on the Research Paper at the beginning of the course, instead of the end. This will be a process that takes us several weeks and we will walk through the research process "Step by Step". www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay6GjmiJTPM

Step 1: Topic & Research Question. Due Friday, September 13th.

Step 2: Prepare a working Thesis. September 16th-September 20th.

Step 3: Research Brainstorm. Minimum of 5 sources are required for this paper. At least 2 sources cannot be websites.

Step 4: Outline that includes Thesis, Topic Sentences for each body paragraph, and current research. Outline checks will begin on Monday, September 30th.

Step 5: Writing a First Draft. Due Thursday, October 10th.

Step 6: Editing, Sourcing, Finalizing. Final papers will be due on Thursday, November 14th.

Journal #1 Q: What do you consider to be your driving motivation? Length Approx. 3/4 page. Due: Tuesday, September 10th
