Colorado Watershed Symposium: Friday July 18th

On July 18th, over 150 partners involved in flood recovery attended “Working with Watersheds: It’s More Than Just the River.” This full day symposium in Loveland, Colorado brought together municipal, county, and special district officials, members of watershed coalitions, ditch company and water conservancy district representatives, and state and federal agency representatives in a forum to address the future of flood-affected watersheds.

Watershed Coalitions presented their work, and Carol Ekarius, the founding Executive Director of the Coalition for the Upper South Platte, offered an inspiring keynote speech. Click here for more info about Carol.
