Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan

CMHI at Fort Logan opened in July 1961. The hospital is licensed for 94 adult inpatient beds. The state wide inpatient program for adult deaf/hearing impaired clients with mental illness is at Fort Logan. On the left are links to pages which describe some of our services, opportunities and the geographic areas that we serve.
Community mental health centers, (CMHC's), and behavioral health organizations, (BHO's), refer clients for admission and, along with client and staff, participate in treatment and discharge planning.

Billing for hospital services is based upon a number of factors including the ability to pay, health insurance and Medicaid or Medicare coverage. Admission is not denied due to inability to pay.
