Welcome to the Guidance Department of Albemarle High School, where we are dedicated to fostering students' academic, personal/social, and career developments. Our mission is to assist and guide students on their paths to becoming life-long learners and productive members of an ever-changing society.

About Us

The Guidance Department assists students in dealing with academic decisions, career plans, personal problems, social skills, and other areas in preparing the student to take her/his place in a global society.

During the school year, the Guidance Department will meet with students individually to schedule courses for the upcoming year, review transcripts, discuss attendance, assist with registration for college entrance exams, as well as explore post-secondary options.
