Courses Taught: Advanced Biology, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II

I hope that as you navigate my webpage, you find all the resources to help you be successful in my classes.  My goal for you is when you leave my classroom, you will know how awesome it is to think like a scientist!

About Me: I love the Biological Sciences!  This is my 21st year teaching science, all at Shelby High School and I still LOVE what I am doing!! I teach Anatomy & Physiology at North Central State College in the evenings.  I've been doing that for over 10 years.

My husband and I
have four sons, ten grandchildren, two double doodles and a bunch of chickens to keep us busy.  This summer I have continued my education by taking a class through Indiana Wesleyan University - Systems Biology.  In my spare time,  I enjoy watching college football ~ especially the Buckeyes!  I like watching pro football as well ~ Go Steelers!!  I also enjoy gardening, hunting, rug-making, quilting and paper crafting, especially card-making.

My philosophy of life is that Attitude is Everything!  I love the quote by Charles R. Swindoll:
"We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
