About Me:  Brian is a graduate from Ashland University with a degree in Curriculum and Development in addition to The Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor Degree of Music Education.  While attending Ohio State, Brian performed in Chorale, University Choir, Symphonic Choir, University Band, and the internationally famed Ohio State University Men's Glee Club.  Following graduation, Brian taught in the Mansfield City School District, the Chicago Public Schools System, and is presently teaching at Shelby Middle and High School, in Shelby, Ohio. Under his leadership, his choirs have performed at the Tiffin University Jazz Summit, the Ohio Music Educators' Association State Convention, the University of Toledo, Ohio Wesleyan University, Ball State University and Ashland University.  In addition to teaching, Brian serves as the musical director for various high school, college and community productions. His high school productions include Seussical Jr., Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, Bye, Bye Birdie, Grease, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.  Community and college productions include, Urinetown, Gypsy, Sound of Music, Babes in Arms, Cinderella, Oklahoma, Annie, Once Upon a Mattress, Side by Side by Sondheim in addition to many others.  Brian also serves as a clinician and adjudicator for the Ohio Music Educators Association.  Brian has recently accepted the position as the Mansfield Symphony Chorus Director.
