My name is Mrs. Fisanick and I am the School Librarian.

New for the 2020-2021 first 9 weeks:

Hello Peters Colony Panthers! I miss each and every one of you so very much and I cannot wait until we are back at school again.

In the meantime, please check out the new story I've posted on Youtube: https://youtu.be/s4l5OVYtn8c

It is the story of The Apple Star Tree. I hope you like it!

***Check back here often and I will be posting all kinds of interesting things. Book Talks, Read Alouds, Challenges, Makerspace Demos and much, much more!

Welcome back to the 2019 - 2020 school year!!! I am extra excited to start back this year. I attended two, not one, but two edCamps this summer and I feel inspired to try a couple of new things. The first being lunch and listen! Students will be invited to the library during their lunch time to eat quietly and listen to an audiobook, how nice and relaxing will that be? Another idea that I would like to test drive is genrefying our fiction section. Students will be able to find subjects that they are interested in, more easily. There are a lot more ideas that I want to try out in our school library that I will be letting you know about this year. I'm so excited to see each and every one of you and your families this year at your school library!!!!

Making Literacy Come Alive

All the stations in the library are Engineering Stations! We discussed that there are many different types of Engineers and how it involves math and science. The students had fun completing challenges and more.
