Description
Summer Institute Workshop
Thursday, June 16, 2016

Creating ePortfolios FOR learning –not just as a showcase of learning, will be the primary focus of this workshop.  “An ePortfolio (electronic portfolio) is an electronic collection of evidence that shows a learning journey over time. The key aspect of an ePortfolio is the learner’s reflection on the evidence, such as why it was chosen and what they learned from the process of developing an ePortfolio. (from Helen Barrett’s Eportfolio Google Site: https://sites.google.com/site/eportfolioapps/overview).

Participants will learn about best practices for student selection and reflection with portfolios, and how they and their students can use Google Sites in conjunction with work already stored in Google Drive to build an ePortfolio that the students own and maintain to reflect on their learning journey.
